Advanced Enzyme Technology

This course provides the advanced knowledge and information on enzyme technology. It will

emphasize on the production of enzyme, industrial enzymes and innovative application of some

specialized enzyme. Techniques employed in enzymes engineering and hybridization are also

emphasized in this course. Students will also be introduced to the theory as well as applications of

enzyme technology in food, medical, and diagnostic industries. Finally this course serves to provide an

awareness of the social/ ethical issues related to possible future applications of enzyme technologies
